Workspace members

Roles, invites, and permissions.

Workspace Settings → Members is where owners and admins invite people, assign roles, and restore removed members. Everyone can see who is in the workspace; management actions require admin access.

Open the Members tab

Open Workspace Settings and select Members. Sub-tabs include Current, Pending invites (admins only), and Removed.

Click What can each role do? next to the title to open the permission matrix for Admin, Member, and Viewer.

Roles at a glance

Owner is the person who created the workspace. There is one owner; ownership transfer is not available in the app today.

Admin can manage workspace settings, members, invites, and integrations, and can edit all content.

Member can create and edit cards, canvases, teams, labels, and board work, but cannot change workspace settings or membership.

Viewer can read workspace content but cannot create or edit cards, canvases, teams, or labels.

Add an existing user

Add Member looks up a person who already has a Yirar account by email and adds them immediately with the role you choose.

Use this when they have signed in before. If they are new to Yirar, use Invite by email instead.

Invite by email

Invite by email sends a message with a link to join this workspace. Pick Admin, Member, or Viewer for the invite.

Pending invites appear on the Pending invites tab. Resend sends the email again. Revoke cancels an invite before it is accepted.

Invites expire after a limited time (shown in the Expires column).

Change roles and remove members

On Current, admins can change another member role or remove them from the workspace. The owner cannot be removed or demoted through this UI.

Removed members move to the Removed tab. Admins can restore someone who should rejoin with their previous access pattern.
