Advisor replies are not only text in a chat pane. Depending on the mode, you can apply suggestions to cards, create children on the map, or navigate to cards mentioned in an audit.
Apply summary and description
In Card detail mode (and some Chat replies), the Advisor may propose a new summary or description.
- Review in card opens the card detail pane with the suggestion as a draft you can edit before saving.
- Save to card writes the change immediately without opening the pane.
If the model targets a different card in your tree (for example a child it is refining), the canvas may switch Advisor focus to that card so the apply buttons match the right row.
Plan next layer: create and refine
When a layer plan appears in the thread:
- Select the rows you want on the map, then Create selected (achievements are created first, then verifications that depend on them).
- Regenerate asks for a fresh split with the same intent.
- Type in the message box to refine the open plan (add, remove, or reword rows).
Optional verification rows can stay off the map until you are ready. After creation, you can open a new child in the embedded card panel from the plan block.
Tree audit follow-up
Audit messages stay in the conversation. Each finding references card numbers when possible. Use actions on a finding to show it on the map (pan and select without opening the full card dialog) or continue in Advisor on that card.
Audit output is for alignment review. It does not change board status or resolve cards automatically.
Mentions, links, and images
Type `#` and a card number in the composer to focus the turn on that card (when it exists on the current canvas). The Advisor can also emit card links you can click to open the card.
You can attach images to a message (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF) for context, for example a screenshot of a whiteboard or slide. Thumbnails appear in the chat history after you send.
Stop, slow replies, and limits
While the Advisor is thinking or streaming, use Stop to cancel the current request.
Long runs may show a gentle “still working” hint after a short wait. If the workspace monthly LU allowance is exhausted, new sends are blocked until the next UTC month or an owner adjusts the cap (see Advisor workspace settings).
Save description drafts to the card before running Plan next layer if the Advisor just wrote text you still need. Unsaved drafts can be lost when you switch modes.
